When a subway train is thrown off the track by 60,000 galloons of flood water, a partially skeletonized body emerges out of the overflow. While Dr. Sweets, a passenger on the derailed train, copes with post traumatic stress, the rest of the team and intern Daisy Wick (guest star Gallo) get to work on identifying the victim as Martin Aragon, a professional ghost writer caught up in a deadly love triangle. Meanwhile, Brennan releases her second book to great success, but has to accommodate a nosy reporter, and Sweets’ near-death experience leads him to make a drastic decision in the all-new “The Bones on a Blue Line” episode of BONES airing Thursday, April 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Can’t wait for new episodes of Bones? Well, here’s something that will get your motor running. FOX has released a new promo trailer for the next episode entitled “The Bones on the Blue Line” and though it’s only about half a minute long, it contains enough teasers to whet your appetite.
Since 15th episode of Bones‘ fifth season also marks the 99th installment of the FOX procedural series, you can expect the show to lay the groundwork storyline that will eventually blossom into the 100th landmark installment on April 8. The groundwork comes in the form of Sweets’ (John Francis Daley) book, Bone of Contention, which sends chills down everyone’s spine when it’s finally released.
If you’ve been following Bones religiously, then you already have an idea what Sweets’ book is about. But for those who don’t have a clue, it revolves around the sexual attraction between Booth and Brennan and the observations that led Sweets to conclude that they are in love with each other.

Robert Englund will be spooking students in the April 15 slasher-themed episode of Bones, when the former Freddy Krueger of the classic “Nightmare on Elm Street” films pops as Ray Buxley, a creepy janitor at Brennan’s old high school with a fondness for taxidermy.
“He befriended Bones back when she was a wallflower in high school, and is still carrying a torch for her,” teases Robert. So when Brennan (Emily Deschanel) shows up at her reunion with Booth (David Boreanaz) posing as her husband, Ray naturally objects. “He doesn’t like Booth at all!”
It was a different vibe off camera between the actors, says Robert. “David and I have friends in common from our sci-fi/horror worlds when he was on Buffy and Angel. I made a joke on set that I think he has even more action figures of himself than I do.”
