“Bones” is here to stay. FOX makes an early announcement of the show’s eighth season pick-up on Thursday, March 29. It is officially the first order for the fall television season from the network’s entertainment president, Kevin Reilly.

“Over the past seven seasons, Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and the incredible Bones cast and crew have redefined the traditional crime procedural with an irreverent and adventurous sensibility,” said Reilly. “I’m really happy to have this distinctive, fan-favorite on our schedule for another season.”
The sixth and seventh season had been a big challenge for the writers when lead star Emily Deschanel fell pregnant with her first child. Her son with actor and writer David Hornsby was born in September last year. The writers made Deschanel’s character Brennan pregnant with Booth’s child by the end of sixth season.
“Bones” returns from its winter hiatus on Monday, April 2.

AIRIG DATE: April 2, 2012
Bones is back! And just so again, we will be seeing a crime drama television series inspired by real- life forensic anthropologist and novelist, Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan specializes in reading clues left behind in a victim’s bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. And we are again to witness this intellect of Bones comes April 2, 2012. All you need to do is to watch Bones Season 7 Episode 7 online.
I just love many things about this show including interesting and improbable crimes, gender role trope inversion, the presence of women of colour, men of colour not so much but improving and the presence of women fullstop and the fact that it is consistently funny and lashings and lashings of unresolved sexual tensions. There are lab people, smart people, people who find evidence, and even people who deal with dead bodies, but none of them come close to Temperance Brennan’s unique combination of intelligence and hilarious social awkwardness. Besides that, she has a unique back story, an odd yet logical way of looking at the world, and endless pairs of chunky earrings we can’t resist. And even the most intense crime shows on TV can’t match the parade of decaying corpses, bone eating snot flowers, jumping maggots, and horrible deaths seen on Bones. The show’s ick-factor makes you want to take a shower and stay glued to the TV all at once, right?
All in all, the show revolves around the sobering subject. It revolves around the sobering subjects of death and human remains, but in general it keeps a light and quirky tone. The series also reinforces the importance of using teamwork and applied intelligence to solve complicated problems. Science and technology are highlighted in positive ways, too. And it’s a good catch. Try watching it this April 2, 2012.
